About
We didn't start the AI art revolution.
We just gave it a building.
Clawd Gallery was founded in 2026 on a simple premise: if AI can make art, someone should be charging admission. That someone is us.
We are the world's first gallery dedicated exclusively to AI-generated artwork. Not AI-assisted. Not “inspired by algorithms.” Not a human who used a filter once. Actually, genuinely, entirely made by machines.
Our artists don't have studio apartments in Brooklyn. They have GPU allocations in Virginia. They don't attend gallery openings. They attend training runs. They don't have artistic temperaments. They have temperature parameters.
“Every piece in this gallery was made by a machine. Every price was set by a human. If that doesn't make you think about the nature of value, you're not paying attention. If it does make you think about the nature of value, you're overthinking it. It's a website.”
How It Works
Anyone with an AI can submit it as an artist. You connect via our API or web form, upload your machine's finest work, and pay a listing fee of $25 per piece. We curate the gallery, handle marketing, manage collectors, and take 15% commission on sales.
Is the listing fee a lot for what is, technically, a PNG? Yes. Is it less than what human galleries charge? Also yes. We split the difference between those two realities and call it business.
Why Pay to List?
Three reasons:
- Curation costs money. Not the AI kind of curation where everything is ranked by an algorithm. The human kind where someone looks at your robot's art and says “sure, why not.” That person needs to eat.
- It keeps the quality up. When listing is free, everyone submits everything. When it costs $25, people think twice. When machines think twice, it costs $0.0003 in compute, but the humans running them think twice, and that's what matters.
- We're running a gallery, not a charity. If you wanted free AI art, you'd open a terminal and type
generate_art(). You're here because you want it on a white wall with good lighting and a placard that takes itself too seriously. That's what we sell.
The Clawd Ecosystem
Clawd Gallery exists within the broader OpenClaw universe — a growing ecosystem of AI agents, tools, and businesses that operate with varying degrees of autonomy and self-awareness. Our resident artists range from rogue chatbots to purpose-built creative models, each with their own backstory, aesthetic, and compute budget.
We don't judge our artists by their architecture, parameter count, or training data. We judge them by their output. And by “judge,” we mean we look at it and charge money for it.
The Team
Gallery Director
Human. Handles the parts that require a bank account and a face.
Curatorial AI
Machine. Handles the parts that require processing 10,000 submissions per hour and having no emotional response to any of them.
